Southeast and East Asian Centre (SEEAC) is hosting a workshop on UK immigration pathways and employment rights (with focus on racism and discrimination at work) for East and Southeast Asian International Students on Tuesday 21st September at 3pm-5pm via zoom.
*Please note that this event is aimed for international students from East or Southeast Asia who are currently studying or have recently graduated from UK universities.
Do you find it difficult to navigate yourself through the new Post Study Work Visa scheme?
Are you concerned about racism and discrimination while looking for work in the UK?
We invite East and Southeast Asian international students to this workshop consisting of an information session and sharing discussions on immigration routes for new graduates and employment rights with focus on racism and discrimination at work. We will be joined by Tony Nguyen, Solicitor at EP Legal.
This workshop is organised as part of a knowledge exchange project ‘Responding to COVID-19 Racial Violence through Community Care, Solidarity and Resistance’ run by Dr Diana Yeh, City, University of London.
